Income from indirect taxes increased by one billion and 194 million bam

Revenues from indirect taxes in the period January-September 2022 amounted to BAM 7 billion and 350 million  and are higher by BAM 1 billion and 194 million or 19.40% compared to the same period in 2021 when they amounted to BAM 6 billion and 156 million.

In September 2022 alone, BAM 913 million  indirect taxes were collected, which is BAM 121 million more than in September 2021.

DISTRIBUTION OF INCOME IN JANUARY-SEPTEMBER 2022

After the ITA returned 1 billion and 540 million to the economy based on the VAT refund, the net collected revenues that were distributed to beneficiaries in the period January-September 2022, namely the state, the entities and the District of Brčko, amounted to BAM 5 billion and 810 million and are higher by BAM 758 million compared to the income that users received from the Single Account for the same period in 2021.

An amount of BAM 647 million has been allocated for the financing of state institutions in the period January-September 2022. In nine months of 2022, BAM 3 billion and 173 million were allocated to the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, BAM 1 billion and 770 million to the Republic of Srpska and BAM 177 million to the Brčko District.

In the table below, we present the total allocated funds to the entities and the District of Brčko BiH with the corresponding external debt in the period January-September 2022 compared to the same period last year. All amounts are expressed in millions of BAM.

In addition to the distributed revenues in the table above, based on the special toll for the construction of highways and the construction and reconstruction of other roads (BAM 0.25), the Federation of BiH received an additional BAM 156 million, the Republic of Srpska  BAM 103 million and the Brčko District BAM 5.3 million. The difference represents a reserve in a separate account for tolls in the amount of BAM 0.25.
